He started off as a Cadet Life Supervisor in the boys upperschool dorm, but when the opportunity to become the Communications Assistant presented itself he did not hesistate to apply for the position. "It was a perfect opportunity to obtain a job in my field of study," said Mr. Bourdon. After careful consideration, the communications department decided to hire Mr. Bourdon as their new Communications Assistant. "It still hasn't hit me yet," said Mr. Bourdon as he reflected upon the good news, "I've found myself in a very forntunate situation accompanied by a considerable amount of good timing here at R-MA."
Along with being the communications assistant, Mr. Bourdon is the assistant lacrosse coach at Randolph-Macon Academy. He is well-experienced in the sport, having been on the team, during his time at R-MA. In the spring of 2010, Mr. Bourdon and his former teammates won the Delaney Athletic Conference championship. He commented, “It was a fantastic feeling I hope to share with my guys this year as a coach.”
