The R-MA Parents' Association will host an informative presentation for 9th, 10th, 11th grade students and parents on the college admission process, "Getting From Where You Are to Where You Want to Be," by Peter Van Buskirk on Friday, March 9th at 1:30 p.m. in Boggs Chapel.
On Wednesday, February 21st, selected band and chorus students from Randolph-Macon Academy will head to Missouri Military Academy in Mexico, MO, for the 42nd Annual Military School Band & Choir Festival. The cadets will spend a couple of days in clinics with renowned musicians and drum majors, then give a concert performance on Sunday, February 25th. Awards will be given for the best prepared band, and students will be ranked according to their individual performances throughout the clinics as well.
Come see us on The Hill for the 1st Annual Yellow Jacket Drill Meet! This competition is open to all Junior ROTC units as a venue to showcase their skills in drill. The competition will include: Flight Inspection, Color Guard, Armed Regulation, Unarmed Regulation, 1st Year Inspection Element, 1st Year Color Guard, and 1st Year Unarmed.
The competition aims to instill the highest values of teamwork, honor, spirit, and character among its participants. So come out and watch these young people execute on the drill pad!
Come enjoy the sounds of the season at the annual Randolph-Macon Academy Christmas concert! Featuring the award-winning R-MA band and chorus, as well as the handbell choir, this event will surely put you in Christmas spirit.
