Varsity soccer earns victory

9/13/13  The varsity boys' soccer team hosted Chelsea Academy in the first game of the season.  R-MA had a lot to prove and was ready to put the ball into the back of their opponents net.  The Jackets got off to an early scoring spree and scured a 6-0 lead by halftime.  Chelsea was unable to answer back as R-MA added a couple more goals in the second half.

The Jackets finished with an 8-0 win to begin the season 1-0.  The team will host Highland School tomorrow at 4pm.

9/12/13  The middle school soccer team hosted Fresta Valley and gained some valuable game time.  The Yellow Jackets were ready to play, however, their opponent showed up with alot to prove.  R-MA put forth their best efforts, unfortunately, Fresta Valley was a bit too strong.  R-MA was defeated 1-5 in their first home game of the season.

The team will step onto the pitch again Tuesday against Wakefield Country Day School, game time is 4:15 at R-MA.


Volleyball digs deep for victory

9/12/13  The varsity volleyball team hosted Chelsea Academy in the first match of the season.  The Yellow Jackets came out strong and took the early 2-0 lead.  However, Chelsea was not ready to give up.  The third game was very close, and teams were tied 22-22, until Chelsea managed to get three straight points to win the thrid game.  A fourth game was underway with both teams on their toes and digging deep for every point.  Breanna Collins '16, Taylor Jones '16 and Kelli Hutcheson '14 were all determined to wi


MS volleyball begins the season

The middle school volleyball team got their season off to a good start last week with a win over Winchester Academy.  The two teams played at R-MA on 9/10/13.  The Lady Jackets were ready to play and showed it with a straight 2-0 victory in the first two games.  Coach Brinkley said his team looked good and played well together.

On Thursday, R-MA hosted Fresta Valley.  Once again, the Lady Jackets played well and looked like a good team.  They won the first two games to secure another match victory.
