The Jackets traveled away to play a tough game against number two seed, Wakefield in the DAC tournament. Yet R-MA held their own in the first half, conceding a single goal that came from what looked like a mishit shot that took everyone by surprise. In the second half, the Jackets started to play a higher line and get more chances as the game remained tight. The contest was finely balanced until Wakefield scored a second goal from an impressive individual effort and skillful finish. As the Jackets pushed hard to regain a foothold, Wakefield could take advantage of the space behind and scored two late goals to win 4-0. It was a strong performance by the Jackets, who came into the game as underdogs and went toe-to-toe with the number two team in the league.
