* Campus Services: This fee covers the cost of the yearbook, guest speakers, audio-visuals, school-sponsored cultural and civic trips, science lab fees, ESL lab fees, placement testing and evaluation, online computer and Internet services (including internet connections, computer lab, and email services), infirmary services (visits and OTC medications), haircuts, and one package of school photos. For boarding students, the following services are also covered: a telephone service fee (which covers incoming phone service, free local and 800 class, connection fees, and voice mail), a dorm cleaning/fair-wear & tear fee, and transportation to and from town on the Front Royal Area Transit (FRAT) bus (Upper School boarding students only).
** Expense Deposit: The deposit is applied to the cost of books, classroom suplies, U.S. Air Force, and/or civilian uniforms, two R-MA blankets (boarding only) and personal items for sports and physical education. All required items are available in the R-MA Bookstore or R-MA Clothing Store. The Parents' Association also sells used uniforms and books each registration at a reduced rate. Most students will incur additional expenses through the year, so additional deposits may be required.
Allowance: Each boarding student will receive a weekly allowance as specified by his/her parent. We recommend $15 to $25 per week.
Van Transportation: Randolph-Macon Academy provides daily van transportation to and from Winchester, Virginia to campus. Additional fees will apply. For more information contact MSgt. Norman Brander at nbrander@rma.edu or 540-636-5346.
