About R-MA

The blazer uniform is worn at least once a month and for special occasions. The Air Force "duty" uniform is the typical uniform at the upper school.R-MA is a co-ed day and boarding school for students in grades 6-12. We do more than prepare our students for college; we give them a solid foundation in Knowledge, Leadership, and Character.

Knowledge

Students improve their grades at our boarding school for several reasons:

Smaller classes--on average, 14 students per class

Personal attention--our teachers care

Rigorous coursework--students are challenged to reach their potential

The class of 2010 earned $6.2 million in college merit scholarships!

Leadership

Students who excel may be invited to attend a summer leadership seminar called cadre. These students will be the military and dorm leaders for the school year.In the Air Force Junior ROTC program, students learn to be good citizens and great leaders.  A military school provides structure to the students' daily lives; it also helps them develop confidence and self-discipline, both of which aid them in their academic studies.

Character

We believe in a values-based education.  Our mentoring program and long association with the United Methodist Church help students become young men and women of strong, positive character.  The Air Force JROTC also provides a foundation in this area, as the students learn the Air Force values of Integrity First, Service before Self, and Excellence in All We Do.
