Flight Camp

June 27 - July 23, 2010

R-MA offers a summer flight-training program that includes:

·     Aviation ground school, tailored to soloing in a Cessna 152 or 172

·     Approximately 15 hours of dual flight instruction

·     FAA medical examination (if necessary)

This is a unique in-house program: our instructors are R-MA employees, and we own the three aircraft used for training. We plan for students to fly a minimum of four hours per week.  Advanced training is available for qualified students.

Federal Aviation Regulations state that a student must be at least 16 years old to earn solo wings and 17 years old for the private pilot license.  For safety reasons and because students’ abilities vary, R-MA does not guarantee either solo status or certification regardless of the flight time or costs incurred.

Flight time will also be available on a per-hour basis for students who are enrolled in classes full-time.  These hours may be arranged on an individual basis.  Space is limited and is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
