About R-MA

Located in Front Royal, VA, R-MA is a co-ed day and boarding school for students in grades 6-12. We do more than prepare our students for Students who excel at R-MA may be invited to attend a summer leadership seminar called cadre.college; we give them a solid foundation in Knowledge, Leadership, and Character. 

Knowledge

Students improve their grades at R-MA for several reasons:

  • Smaller classes--on average, 14 students per class
  • Personal attention--our teachers care
  • Rigorous coursework--students are challenged to reach their potential

The class of 2012 earned $4.2 million in college merit scholarships! R-MA graduates are now enrolled in the Air Force Academy, University of California at Berkeley, MIT, Harvard, Princeton, and other top colleges. Leadership

In the Air Force Junior ROTC program, students learn to be good citizens and great leaders.  A military school provides structure to the students' daily lives; it also helps them develop confidence and self-discipline, both of which aid them in their academic studies. 

Character

At R-MA, we believe in a values-based education.  Our mentoring program and long association with the United Methodist Church help students become young men and women of strong, positive character.  The Air Force JROTC also provides a foundation in this area, as the students learn the Air Force values of Integrity First, Service before Self, and Excellence in All We Do.
