Private Music Lessons
Private music lessons are taught by music educators from the local area who have specific expertise on the various instruments they are teaching. These lessons are scheduled so that students who elect to study privately may either take one 30-minute lesson, one 45-minute lesson (voice only) or one 60-minute lesson per week.  Lessons are scheduled in the afternoons and evenings.

Many of the instructors are also involved with the band/chorus on a regular basis throughout the year.

Music lessons are available in the following areas:
  • Clarinet
  • Euphonium
  • Flute
  • Guitar
  • Horn
  • Percussion
  • Piano
  • Saxophone
  • Trombone
  • Trumpet
  • Tuba
  • Voice

Students will be charged for the entire semester before private instruction commences.  At each lesson, the student will sign a record sheet which will briefly indicate the topics covered in the lesson, the scheduled starting and ending times, and the actual time the student arrived for the lesson.

Students have the opportunity to take private lessons on instrument or voice. This includes piano and guitar lessons.
