*Campus Services: This fee covers the cost of the yearbook, guest speakers, audio-visuals, school-sponsored cultural and civic trips, science lab fees, placement testing and evaluation, computer services, infirmary services (visits and OTC medications), and haircuts. For boarding students, the following services are also covered: technology fee, dorm cleaning/fair-wear & tear fee, and transportation to and from town on the Front Royal Area Transit (FRAT) bus (Upper School boarding students only).

** Expense Deposit: The deposit is applied to the cost of books, classroom supplies, U.S. Air Force, and/or civilian uniforms, two R-MA blankets (boarding only) and personal items for sports and physical education.  All required items are available in the R-MA Bookstore or the R-MA Clothing Store. Weekly allowances will be deducted from the student’s expense account. The Parents’ Association also sells used uniforms each registration at a reduced rate.  Most students will incur additional expenses throughout the year, so additional deposits may be required.

Allowance: Each boarding student can receive a weekly allowance as specified by his/her parent. We recommend $15 to $25 per week.

Van Transportation: Randolph-Macon Academy provides daily van transportation to and from Winchester, Virginia and Haymarket, Virginia for day students that live in those areas. Additional fees will apply. For more information contact MSgt. Norman Brander at nbrander@rma.edu or 540-636-5346.
