Hello, my name is Amy Harriman and I joined the Randolph-Macon Academy family in the summer of 2004.
I grew up in Western Maryland and went to college at Towson University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication in 2000. I now live on campus with my husband, World History teacher and R-MA alumnus, Andrew Harriman, and our son, Campbell.
Before moving to Virginia I worked for a non-profit community action agency, which helped low-income families afford the cost of their home heating and electric bills. At that job, I had the satisfaction of knowing that we were making a difference in the quality of people’s lives, which is the same reason I am happy to be at R-MA. I welcome you to visit the Academy.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions that you may have. I look forward to hearing from you!
