Summer Programs June 30 - July 26, 2013

For four weeks each summer, students attending Randolph-Macon Academy Summer Programs develop their interests and talents, challenge themselves to improve on weaknesses, and literally take to the skies. Close friendships are formed and last forever, memories are made, and lives are changed.

It is a summer like no other.

Flying Lessons in R-MA's Flight Program

Theatre at R-MA

A dynamic, dedicated group of students partake of R-MA's theatre program each year. In the Upper School program, approximately 30 actors and technicians participate, with additional stagehands, directors, choreographers, and costume designers making this a true "community" effort, with up to 70 people involved in putting on a production. Falcon Foundation Scholars

 

After arriving at Randolph-Macon, I quickly learned that there was more to what the school offered than flying and marching. The specially-designed curriculum developed specifically for the Falcon Scholars focuses on solidifying the students’ academic foundations in subjects such as mathematics, English, and chemistry that prove to be very challenging for cadets during their early years at the Air Force Academy. Middle School 5-Day Boarding Program

The 5-day boarding program at Randolph-Macon Academy Middle School offers an additional option for students in grades 6-8. Students live on campus from Sunday evening (before study hall) through Friday evening, when they head home for the weekend.

Thomas Shea Breaks Personal Records at State Track Meet

Congratulations to Thomas Shea who achieved two personal records at the state track meet this weekend. He set a goal to break 5 minutes in the mile and 11 minutes in the two mile. He accomplished both with a time of 4:59 and 10:54 respectfully.
